Taprooms Near Me is designed so your contact details stay private. Public profiles show a display name or username, city, bio, and favorites — never your email or phone number.

What we store on this device

Account profile — name, username, login email (private), city, and role. Email is for sign-in only.
Geolocation — requested in the browser for Near Me search and GPS check-ins. We do not keep a location trail.
Passport stamps, crawls, reviews, and ads drafts — saved in local storage on this demo.

Public vs private

Comments and reviews use the name or username you choose. Other drinkers cannot see your email or phone. Staff tools may show login email so support can identify an account — not a public profile field.

Third-party services

Maps use Leaflet with CARTO / OpenStreetMap tiles. Imagery may load from Unsplash. Mock checkout copy references Stripe and PayPal; no card data is stored on this site.
